Attica Group is expanding its footprint in the European youth mobility market through a new phase of collaboration with the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM). The company is extending a 20% discount to holders of the European Youth Card across key domestic and international routes, reinforcing its strategic role in accessible maritime transportation for younger travelers. The benefit applies to all major brands under the Group—Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, ANEK Lines and Superfast Ferries—covering the Adriatic, Crete, the Saronic Gulf and the Cyclades, and offering reducedcost travel across one of the largest maritime networks in Southeast Europe.
The initiative builds on a longstanding partnership between Attica Group and INEDIVIM focused on Adriatic routes, now expanding into the domestic network. The company is integrating highdemand connections such as Piraeus–Syros–Tinos–Mykonos, Piraeus–Heraklion–Chania and the Saronic Gulf lines, enhancing connectivity in regions with strong social and tourism mobility. For Attica Group, the move aligns with its broader strategy to invest in services that increase accessibility and strengthen its appeal among younger demographics, a segment that represents a significant share of future travel demand.
Attica Group Chairman Kyriakos Mageiras stated that the company remains committed to supporting island communities and younger generations, noting that the partnership with INEDIVIM expands travel opportunities and encourages exploration across the Group’s network. He emphasized that integrating European Youth Card holders into Attica’s discount framework is a meaningful step toward enhancing youth mobility and offering more reasons for young people to travel, discover new destinations and engage with new experiences.
INEDIVIM President Anna Rokofyllou highlighted that collaborating with a modern and dynamic company such as Attica Group significantly strengthens the European Youth Card’s benefit network. She noted that the 20% discount on highinterest routes—including the Adriatic, Crete, the Cyclades and the Saronic Gulf—provides substantial advantages to young people aged 13 to 30, expanding their access to new opportunities and experiences. Rokofyllou added that the initiative marks an important step in the ongoing development of the Youth Card program and reaffirms INEDIVIM’s commitment to actions with tangible impact on the daily lives of young people.
The European Youth Card, implemented in Greece by INEDIVIM, is the largest youth benefit program in Europe, offering discounts in transportation, culture, education, sports and tourism across more than 35 countries. The collaboration with Attica Group underscores the importance of crosssector partnerships that deliver practical advantages to younger generations and broaden their ability to travel to popular island and international destinations.
