Expanding Cooperation Between Greece and Azerbaijan
[1m read]
Greece is set to host a highlevel business forum with Azerbaijan on 1 October 2026 in Athens, as part of the 6th Greece–Azerbaijan Joint Interministerial Committee. Organized by the General Secretariat for International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with Enterprise Greece, the event will take place at the Divani Caravel Hotel and aims to deepen economic ties between the two countries.
The forum comes at a time when both economies are demonstrating strong momentum, creating new avenues for investment and bilateral cooperation. Greece and Azerbaijan have expanded their economic footprint in recent years, particularly in sectors linked to energy transition, infrastructure modernization and digital transformation. The upcoming forum seeks to accelerate this trajectory by bringing together companies from both markets and highlighting opportunities across energy, infrastructure, technology and ICT, agrifood and agrotechnology, tourism, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
A dedicated businessnetworking session will allow Greek and Azerbaijani companies to explore partnerships, identify commercial synergies and discuss potential joint ventures. Participants will also have access to detailed profiles of Azerbaijani companies attending the forum, enabling targeted meetings and more effective preparation.
Greek enterprises interested in joining the forum are invited to submit their participation form and a short company profile in English by 22 September 2026. For additional information, companies may contact Enterprise Greece representatives Aliki Mavroidi (T: +30 210 335 5715, E: [email protected]) and Katerina Stavrou (T: +30 210 335 5730, E: [email protected]).
The Greece–Azerbaijan Business Forum reflects the growing strategic relevance of bilateral economic cooperation and underscores Greece’s commitment to strengthening its international partnerships in sectors that shape the future of regional development and investment.
