Motor Oil Joins the MSCI Greece Standard Index in Latest Review

[29s read]

Motor Oil has been added to the MSCI Greece Standard Index, following MSCI’s latest index review, with no deletions recorded. The company becomes the tenth constituent of the benchmark Greek index, joining National Bank of Greece, Eurobank, Piraeus Bank, Alpha Bank, PPC, GEK TERNA, OTE, Jumbo and Allwyn.

As part of the reshuffle, Kri-Kri moves to the MSCI Greece Small Cap Index, replacing Motor Oil.

The changes will take effect after the close of trading on Monday, 31 August, and will be implemented from 1 September 2026.

Motor Oil’s inclusion strengthens the index’s energy exposure and enhances the company’s visibility among global institutional investors, ahead of Greece’s anticipated return to Developed Markets status in 2027.
