The Rethymno Chamber of Commerce will participate with its own exhibition pavilion at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), taking place from 5 to 13 September 2026, in collaboration with the Union of Hellenic Chambers (UHCC). This year’s presence aims to introduce international visitors, buyers, and business representatives to the dynamic and fastgrowing business ecosystem of Rethymno, Crete.
The Chamber’s pavilion will host a curated group of companies from the region, representing key sectors such as food & beverage, manufacturing, tourism services, technology, and innovative local products. Exhibitors will present their portfolios, showcase new products, and explore opportunities for commercial partnerships with international markets.
With Japan as the Honored Country, the 90th TIF is expected to attract a strong international audience and highlevel business delegations. In this context, UHCC and TIFHelexpo will coorganize a Food & Beverage Tasting Day, offering visitors the chance to discover premium Greek products and meet producers directly.
A major highlight of this year’s fair is the activation of the official B2B matchmaking platform, designed to facilitate targeted business meetings between Greek and international companies. Visitors, buyers, distributors, and industry professionals will be able to schedule onetoone B2B sessions with participating businesses from Rethymno, creating a structured environment for networking, negotiations, and potential commercial agreements.
Through its participation, the Rethymno Chamber of Commerce aims to strengthen the international visibility of local enterprises and promote new avenues of cooperation in the Mediterranean and European markets. The Chamber invites all TIF visitors interested in exploring partnerships with Rethymnobased companies to visit its pavilion and engage in the B2B program throughout the duration of the Fair.
