The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels Engages Youth Through Hospitality Values

[47s read]

The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels completed the second edition of the nationwide student art competition “Painting Hospitality,” attracting more than 2,600 submissions from schools across Greece. The initiative, part of the Chamber’s Learning Hospitality program, highlights the enduring cultural significance of hospitality and its ability to inspire creativity, empathy and social awareness among young students.

As a leading institutional body of the Greek tourism sector, the Chamber has developed a longterm strategy that connects education with culture and the country’s hospitality heritage. Through Learning Hospitality, it introduces the younger generation to the values that define Greece internationally — respect, generosity, inclusion and the spirit of welcoming.

This year’s competition showcased the nationwide reach of the initiative, with schools from urban, rural, mountainous and island regions participating. A selected group of students will be invited to join an educational and cultural hospitality program organized by the Chamber and will be honored at the official award ceremony.

With initiatives like “Painting Hospitality,” the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels reinforces its role not only as a representative of the hotel industry but as a cultural and social institution that invests in the next generation and promotes a model of tourism rooted in values with lasting impact.
