The tender reflects the Region’s broader strategy to modernize internal processes, enhance service reliability and apply transparent, competitive procurement standards.

The Region of Crete has announced an open electronic tender for the procurement of printing consumables, including materials for laser printers, inkjet devices, dot‑matrix systems and photocopy machines. The tender is designed to meet the needs of the Region’s central services based in Heraklion as well as the administrative units of the Heraklion Regional Unit. The award criterion is the most economically advantageous offer based solely on price, ensuring a transparent and competitive process aligned with European public procurement standards.

The total estimated value of the contract amounts to €338,437.50 including VAT and option rights. The net budget stands at €189,516.13, with an additional €83,417.34 allocated as an optional extension. VAT at 24% amounts to €65,504.03, bringing the total contract value to €338,437.50. This financial structure reflects the Region’s commitment to precise budgeting and efficient resource allocation across its administrative operations.

The tender is divided into distinct procurement groups to address the specific technical requirements of the Region’s printing infrastructure. The first group concerns the supply of consumables for laser printers, with an estimated value of €172,945.84 including VAT. The second group is subdivided into three categories: inkjet printer consumables valued at €27,222.96 including VAT; dot‑matrix printer consumables valued at €7,845.50; and photocopier consumables valued at €26,985.70. This segmentation ensures that each category of equipment receives targeted support, reflecting the diverse operational needs of the Region’s departments.

The deadline for submitting offers is Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at 15:00. Interested suppliers must submit their bids electronically through the designated procurement platform, following the procedures set out in the tender documentation.
